For those used to previous versions of Sitecore, you may have noticed that the Developer Center and the File Explorer are no longer available in the Desktop menu. But that doesn’t mean that they are not available for you to use. In fact, these applications are still available on the Core databases, only the menus are gone.
If you browse the core database, you’ll be able to see them even though they don’t appear on the menu:
There are essentially two ways for you to access them as originally posted here: Accessing the application url directly on your build, or you can install this module to add the items back to the menu:
you will see the Developer Center interface:
