We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant, focusing on delivering large and complex (IT) projects.

A team-builder and problem-solver. You stay updated on new products and technologies. You know how to use Salesforce to creatively design, prototype, and implement solutions for your client’s unique challenges. You know that collaboration is key, so you look for ways to share and source best practices. If there’s a new way to do something that improves outcomes for clients, you’ll find it.

The core focus of this position is to not only configure and develop through Salesforce Marketing Cloud products and extended features but to be the main interface point with the client, defining the solution to be proposed, coordinating its construction, hosting workshops, and ensuring the quality of the final delivery.


What will you be doing?

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead solution architecture consulting engagements and major digital transformation through design and execution phases and where applicable, drive internal, client, and third-party vendor mixed teams.
  • Support pre-sales activities by assessing marketing platform opportunities, responding to RFPs, and creating proposals, presentations, and live demos. Establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients and helping to close/sign new deals.
  • Suggest solution implementation approaches, and create estimates, timelines, and cost analyses in coordination with solution vendors, that will lead to successful implementation and program delivery.
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, and the platforms required to implement and extend Marketing Clouds successfully.
  • Kick-off new projects, drive initial discovery phase, work with project managers and clients, drive prototypes and proof of concept.
  • Understand, define, and capture the current mar-tech landscape of clients and identify opportunities for rationalization, expansion, and transformation.
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging marketing technology trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects client’s business and initiatives.
  • Translating business and technical requirements into coherent, consistent, and complete solution architecture designs.
  • Recommendation of the Marketing Automation best practices at strategic, tactical, and functional levels to achieve the business goals.

What do we expect from you?

  • Knowledge of solution architecture related to the Digital Experience Platform domain, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  • Able to articulate the pros and cons of mar-tech choices and solution design decisions and to construct and present rational options to clients and prospective clients on the options they have.
  • Confident in expressing points of view, making recommendations, and presenting analysis and recommendations to senior management where appropriate.

But also:

  • 4-7 years of experience working in an agency, consulting, or technology organisation.
  • Proven experience in managing and/or delivering effective solution architecture strategies for mar-tech platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  • Preferably, you have one or more certifications on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform (e.g. Administrator, Email Specialist, Consultant, Developer).
  • Fluency in English.
